In this reference, Peter and Steven share their research with today’s “exponential entrepreneurs”. These visionaries are changing the world using new technologies and capabilities. They go on to describe ways that you too can do the same, including “Skunk Works” teams, Crowdsourcing, Crowdfunding, and Incentive Competitions.

In the first section of the book, the “6 D’s of Exponentials” for innovation are defined. “Digitalization, Deception, Disruption, Demonetization, Dematerialization, and Democratization”. Peter and Steven then go on to describe examples of future and past exponential opportunities.

The second section, the authors walk through the characteristics of today’s innovation “Masters”. Elon Musk, Richard Branson, Jeff Bezos and Larry Page are showcase the passion, risk acceptance, and vision to drive bold pursuits.

Lastly, the book describes ways to get started and execute innovation. Through Crowdsourcing, Crowdfunding, Incentive Competitions, the authors suggest opening your ideas to anyone in the world, tapping into the largest potential base to maximize results.
